... are the most unlikely! We were on that incredible little island off the French Riviera, late June. The weather had been wonderful and even pretty hot ("la canicule" as we like to say call it) for weeks. But on that day, the sky was grey and it was raining on our little piece of paradise. Whether through hands-on immersive experiences in Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg, an inspirational walk through the monuments on the mall, illuminated against the backdrop of our nation’s capital, or marching and then charging in the footsteps of the soldiers at Picket’s Charge in Gettysburg, learning comes to life and becomes deeply rooted in the minds and hearts of those who experience the journey.
